Paid Media Creative: Ad Sets That Look Like the Brand

Ads made one at a time end up looking like five different companies. This study builds one visual system for feed, story, and search placements, so every ad is clearly the same brand and every test changes one thing at a time.

Concept brand: GreenLeaf, a fictional plant-care brand. The process is real.

Before and after

From the Starting Point to What Changed

Starting point (concept): a mismatched collage of unrelated ad styles
Before

The Starting Point

  • Each ad was designed on its own, by whoever had time that week. Colors, type, and photo style changed from one placement to the next, so the brand never looked like itself twice.
  • Tests changed several things at once. When an ad did better or worse, nobody could say why, so the next round started from guesswork.
After (concept): a coordinated ad set sharing one visual system across formats
After

What Changed

  • Every ad now comes from one system, so a shopper who sees the feed ad, then the story, then the search ad meets the same brand three times.
  • Variants are built to test one element at a time, so each round of testing is easier to read and the next round starts from evidence.
The Work

What We Did

The same steps we follow on every Paid Media Creative project.

  1. Start from the offer and the audience. One message per ad, matched to who sees it and where: feed, story, or search.
  2. Write the hooks before the layouts.Several opening hooks and angles per offer, agreed before any design starts.
  3. Build one visual system. The same palette, type, product framing, and logo position, adapted to every size instead of redesigned for each one.
  4. Make variants that test one thing. Each variant changes a single element (hook, headline, visual, or call to action), so results are easier to read.
  5. Hand off with a testing map.Final files sized for Meta and Google placements, named so every result traces back to the element that changed.
